This watering down should have been avoided. With the notes and the name, you expect something green with maybe a bit of brown in it, and then you get this.
I was expecting the scent to be a bit naive, so I would have tested it right away as Scent of the Day... and then I would have experienced a big surprise. Luckily, I’m spared from that now.

I think this slightly fruity-blue scent is partly due to the pampas grass, as I've always noticed that in fragrances with it in the opening. The mesquite tree might also contribute a bit since, as I've read, it bears fruit, which could make the scent a little less dry and overall fruitier.
I can probably agree with you on the additional notes, as for about half a year now, their shop page has been mentioning more notes in the descriptions of some, or almost all, fragrances over time.
Everyone perceives scents differently. With such natural fragrances, it's a whole different thing how much you spray, etc., and how differently the scents are then experienced. We've seen with other brands that sometimes your perception can be quite off.
The assumption of the blue note because of the pampas grass was something we also had with the Champions. I can't deny that. But in the end, it smells like a sporty fragrance.
What I find more surprising is that you're the only one who perceives blue notes from all the comments.
Now the second fragrance from the house with the supposedly dry pampas grass note like in "Land of Champions," which both smell more blue than green.
My original sample reminds me a lot of the blue grapefruit mix from Tygar, which smelled just as little green as a taiga. Bitter-sour-sparkling with blue freshness. A mix between watery-moist and grassy-dry.
There are definitely more notes in there than stated. The scent can't be covered by just those notes. Overall, it's rather monotonous.
Thanks to NeverPerfect for the testing opportunity.
Something between Office for Men and Aventus.

But it's not that bad after all 🫠
