loved the opening, my typical dna of green nature dirt wood but i love how minimal ingredients this house is w awesome sourcing

but midway through it became a super sour citrus on me that i dont love

but the base is a lot more warm wood and kinda reminds me of like a malaysian temple, expensive asf fragrance tho

In Nowhere of Rio Negro
Fuegian has probably been wandering for years through the barren wastelands of North Patagonia. A sea of eroded rocks, frozen waves of pampas grasses, in whose blades the chlorophyll pearls fizzed like carbon dioxide. They broke like juicy cool cacti, spilling their flesh over the desert floors before his thirsty eyes. He listened to their soft rustling, the gusts over withered dunes, in the leaves of skinny mesquite trees that lost themselves in the vastness yet exuded the scent of young fruits like a quiet promise. There was the sound of damp foliage in his shuffling steps, the bitter resins from the thin branches of the dry shrubs cutting through.

The brand Fueguia 1833 was founded in 2010 by Julian Bedel in Buenos Aires. The name recalls an indigenous girl from Tierra del Fuego who was abducted by a British commander and thus serves as a monument to imperialism, as the house is dedicated to the cultural and natural landscapes of the indigenous peoples of South America: "Cultural and natural landscapes are portrayed through each creation in an olfactive storytelling composed by a palette of exotic botanical ingredients," Bedel writes on his homepage. Since the artisanal production does not involve filtration, the fragrances may be cloudy.
"Pampa Seca" is dedicated to the flora of the semi-arid grass steppes of Rio Negro. It opens with the sparkling sour-green scent of pampas grasses, which soon transitions into similarly green, fleshy notes that remind me of the fresh smell of cacti. Together with also perceptible slightly floral notes, these are likely the aromas of the Algarrobo Negro tree, whose scent forms the center of the aromatic green fragrance, which is only complemented at the base by bitter-green, foliage-like galbanum resin. The landscape image from nowhere in Rio Negro projects moderately over many hours.

Green, sweet, a tinge of sour. It does evoke tall grass / reeds, like cogon grass tea.

An extremely green, calm, vegetal scent that reminds of grass and dry meadows, very aromatic, no hay, more like a spring meadow.
