I want to bathe in it!
I received a surprise in the post yesterday: The sample from Parfumo, which I hadn't even thought about anymore.
Thank you so much for that!
Then this morning, full of anticipation, the first spray.
My first impression was absolutely positive: sweet, almondy, but also airy and delicious right from the start.
I don't get coconut at any point. Doesn't matter - I've had several summer candidates in this vein recently.
Directly on the skin, I perceive a somewhat artificial almond aroma in the first half hour, which then subsides and blends in harmoniously.
I get the tangerine right at the beginning and again and again later on for a loosening, delicately fruity lightness.
All in all, I am enveloped in a delicious cloud of caramel from the moment I spray it on until I feel it on my skin.
Later on, it is subtly infiltrated by musk, slightly tart tonka bean and the listed nuts.
In my opinion, Vanilla Haze has a rather feminine feel.
However, it is a gourmand that I can actually stand and find simply wonderful.
Unisex is always my choice - sweetness has too often given me a headache.
Here: a cozy, never annoying, simply delicious sensation that triggers similar homey feelings in me as the not dissimilar "Warm Cashmere" Yankee Candle. I just never expected to find it in perfume form!
And I immediately want a soft cuddly blanket and a bag of Werther's Original Soft Caramel here too.
Vanilla Haze doesn't last very long on me. After 4 hours it was very close to the skin and I sprayed it on again (gladly and generously).
My boyfriend also had to get quite close with his nose to notice the scent.
However, I don't particularly hold this against the perfume. With a decent spray head, the application from the bottle would probably be stronger and I'm not a fan of sticky, overly long-lasting fragrances anyway.
Then the base gets on my nerves and choosing a fragrance in the evening becomes difficult.
So this unexpected sample is really one that has given me unreserved pleasure for a long time and I would never have thought that I of all people would find a gourmand that I would like to wear! I'll probably miss the fragrance when I've used it up......
Definitely a bottle candidate for my very small collection!
