Cozy and Playful

Vanilla Haze is what I imagined Heavy Cream by Phlur would smell like. It's a beautiful citrusy-vanilla cream fragrance, a little sugary and a little nutty. Heavy Cream really soured on my skin, but Vanilla Haze still remains a really beautiful cozy vanillic scent while still staying true to the mandarin and sugary floral notes. Very happy with this!

Left me feeling nauseous

I tried this in the store. First spray was in love. It smelt like a yummy creme brulee, but the creamy custard part. So i bought it........and then instant regret. The dry down is absolutely diabolical. It becomes this synthetic burnt sugar scent. Notice i use the word burnt and not toasted. If it were toasted I would have been ok with it but the dry down was so burnt to the point of charcoal. I just couldn't tolerate it. I ended up gifting it my friend thinking maybe a guy will prefer it due to the dark scent tones from the dry down giving off more masculine energy. NOPEEEE he had the same criticism, it smelt like burnt charcoal. I would really recommend not to blind buy this but rather get a sample first. If you are trying this in stores wait a bit for the dry down because yes the initial spray is a yummy scent, but the dry down completely butchers this fragrance

Toasty vanilla, I want to eat it!

I don't normally wear gourmand fragrances, and I ended up selling my original sample of Vanilla Haze because I found it too sweet. However, months later, I bought a decant of it because I could not stop thinking about it. The smell makes me wanna eat it :D It is heavy on the vanilla, cashmere, hazelnut, and tonka bean, and I get no mandarin or jasmin at all, but I don't mind. Since I do not know much about gourmand fragrances, I cannot speak on whether it's better or worse than similar scents, but I like it. I rarely wear it, I mostly just want to sniff it occasionally :D

Well hellooooo in your face sweet vanilla!

I surprisingly quite like this :) I would not class myself as a gourmand lover pur-sang, but this is quite fun!

Very sweet and thick, in your face vanilla and creme brulee, with a touch of hazelnut. On my skin it is quite linear and does not evolve very much, other than eventually it becomes softer and more toned-down. On fabric this lasts for ages.

Spray sparingly, as this is LOUD haha. My husband can smell me upstairs. Fortunately, he really loves the scent.

dinner mints

Synthetic, plasticky, strangely minty opening that does NOT go away. This reminds me a lot of Lattafa Eclaire in a really bad way. That one has a slightly more pleasant drydown without all the mint. For me, it's really nauseating and unpleasant. Not the worst scent I've tried, but I'll definitely be putting this aside to see if any friends like it better. Really disappointing considering it was was supposed to be a really lovely vanilla creme brulee.

In my humble opinion you don’t need this and Bianco latte. Bianco latte just gives and keeps giving. Vanilla haze is somehow fluffier
