If you venture into the forests of New England, you will hear from afar an ethereal hissing, the menthol-like earthy-woody sound of the tall and slender cypress trees. Be fearless as you approach them, rub rosemary between your hands, it speaks the same herbaceous-spicy language, what we know as forest colors. If you listen closely to the voices of the cypress, you will hear lemony singing, the same song as the gray firs and the mighty Douglas firs.
Close your eyes. The cypress will reveal its heart to you, you will breathe its amber, aromatic balsam firs will gather around you and golden-brown resin drops will hum. Inside, the different needles, the bark and cones, and flakes of earth and drops of mandarins swirl. Soon the brown opoponax will hum the sweeter colors of the evening, you will listen a little longer to the soft songs, digging into earthy mosses.

"Key" or "Key {to the forest}" in full is a quiet walk through the abundance of aromas of the coniferous forests of the Northeastern United States, ethereal, resinous, earthy, woody, and - as Dorabella noted below - highly balsamic. The journey through the forest lasts about six hours. The conversation with the trees is moderate to quiet.
Gather Perfumes based in Massachusetts produces 100% natural fragrances. Ananda Wilson processes plant essences, extracts, and oils that come either from local wild growth or organic cultivation. Thus, the long-lasting nature of the fragrances is all the more astonishing, likely due to Ananda's extensive experience and the virtuosic processing of the scents. She produces her fragrances in small batches, which are subject to natural seasonal variations.
Thank you for bringing us closer to the scent and language of New England trees with your fine ear and sensitive nose. I'm sure we would understand them with our local tree listening habits too. Big green tree beard trophy for you!
Trees are always very inspiring conversation partners... they listen well and often give the wisest answers ;-) It seems to be no different in North America than in Central Europe. Thanks for the lovely walk-and-talk in the coniferous forest!
I listened to the voices of the cypress trees. I heard the rhythm of their hearts... Inhaling the amber, the soft songs revealed to me the beautiful forest colors that you have so ethereally rewritten...
Moderate to quiet fits. Trees whisper and rustle softly in conversation, in my experience. ;-)
Sounds beautiful. Due to seasonal fluctuations, there are probably better and worse vintages.
... even if they will probably never be my scents ..... Your word painting is a pleasure to read ;)) - - although ...... buzzing opoponax, limy singing, and mandarin drops - could score points ;p)
Thank you!
The courage to open one's heart is rewarded with balsamic notes.
Greetings from the squeaky cherry blossom spring and good evening!
Thanks for the vivid descriptions and background on the scent & manufacturer!
Cypress with menthol and balsam fir also sounds tempting.

Also, another intriguing fragrance.
