Woodruff Cream
Back in my childhood, a (right!) big scoop of ice cream cost one mark. The green ice-cream van drove into the neighbourhood every afternoon throughout the summer, and not infrequently I gave it a green 5 Mark note and took 5 large, equally green scoops of ice cream. In a cup or a waffle. It doesn't matter. Bam! Woodruff ice cream! All fives. Bam Bam! I loved that stuff. And "L'Executif" by George Kordahi took me back to that exact time, to those sultry afternoons between football against the garages and climbing on the edge of the forest... And that's all hand!
"L'executif" is most likely a creamy, fluffy cardamom scent, but it has just that indescribable woodruff feeling that quickly catapults me back. Vanilla, pepper and citrus crumbles, mixed decently and with a certain warmth underneath - yet I can't avoid the ice cream associations. That's how it is sometimes with the brain, the nose, the memories and everything in between. The name sounds harsh and is written in a strange way, the brand doesn't mean anything to me - but somehow "L'executif" kicks me at a sore, beautiful-nostalgic point. And you can hardly attribute a greater compliment or a more fitting "factor" to a perfume. But a more objective short version for all those who didn't wait "hungry" and greedily for the green car in the Leimbachweg in Cologne-Dünnwald with their buddies: a super creamy spice flatterer between Armani Code Ultimate and "La Nuit de L'Homme". Maybe a little more high-class, but also more boring.
Flacon: angular and noble
Sillage: creamy & yet very potent
Shelf life: sticky and slightly greedy - 7 hours
Conclusion: a creamy woody woodruff scent! Synthetic and cheap - highly pitched and screwed into luxury. Very interesting. And the environment says: delicious!
P.S.: Can the company what? Which fragrances are "worth visiting" here? Maybe someone knows... But besides mild rashes I only see a yawning emptiness with the oud smell here :/
