Do I recognize my beloved Fucking Fabulous here?
Woke Up in Vegas by D'Qar hits my taste. Right after spraying, I caught some suspicious Fucking Fabulous vibes in my nose. The DNA of Fabulous already appealed to me when it was released.
I haven't had the original under my nose for a long time, but judging by my memory, it is generally rounder, finer, and simply more harmonious. Additionally, Woke Up In Vegas feels slightly spicier to me and has a somewhat more intense leather note.
Otherwise, this DNA is simply this wonderful mix of almond, lavender, and iris.
This composition, as it worked back then with Fabulous, was top and innovative for me.
Woke Up In Vegas comes quite close to that.
Of course, the significant price difference between the two fragrances should also be mentioned. Here, the clear advantage is with D'Qar.
I also find the longevity and sillage of D'Qar to be somewhat better, even though I consider the performance of Fucking Fabulous to be decent as well. Although Tom Ford has significantly declined in terms of performance, especially regarding the price, at least the longevity and sillage of Fucking Fabulous still somewhat matched.
All in all, we definitely have a very interesting and great fragrance here.
