This rose has become one of my favorite roses - perhaps because it is not a typical rose.
The rose appears here only as a supporting element; to me, it is yellow; not bright yellow, but more a soft corn-yellow. Predominantly, however, there is a shifting Neroli to smell, very fine, only slightly soapy. I cannot distinctly pick out mandarin and mimosa, but they certainly contribute very pleasantly to the overall impression in fine dosage. Benzoin, here I must pass.
I almost have the impression of a delicious fine chewing gum; nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of that, this Armani Prive seems delicate, noble, filigree, different.
The longevity is indeed very good despite its fine texture, lasting several hours on the skin and I can still smell it easily on the fabric the next day.
There is no break in the progression, except that the fresh-citrus note diminishes quite soon without losing its aromas.
I have difficulty categorizing it - for me, it is wearable in all seasons and for all temperatures and occasions.
Yes, I like this Armani - very much.
Edith: Now, weeks later, it has become my number 1. It has become clear to me once again that impressions can complement and deepen when wearing a fragrance for a longer time. It is beautiful.
