Today the package arrived with this blind buy.
I did smell the fragrance once on my colleague, but it was a completely different scent on her :)
Already when unpacking, I thought, oh dear, this is unfortunately not for me.
The scent itself is not bad, I just personally don’t like it on myself.
Since I applied it 2 hours ago, I’ve been suffering ;)
I smell a sugary toilet spray rose here, it’s quite terrible :)
As if there’s a heavy Turkish rose in the heart and base notes, but it’s not listed. I had imagined something completely different with this fragrance, so it’s definitely not a blind buy candidate, but I should have been alerted by this new feature at the top where fragrances are compared to others - I also absolutely do not like Elie Saab Le Parfum.
I’m going to wash this off now, because which fragrances last the longest? The ones you don’t like ;)
Perhaps your friend was wearing the 2019 version of the EdT? It was reformulated & re-released in 2022. I own the 2019 version. I find it more fresh & bright than the 2022 version.
The EdT and EdP actually smell almost the same except for the earthy note in the EdP... Too bad, I find the EdT very nice and well-balanced. One of the most beautiful perfumes with tuberose that doesn’t come off as heavy or old-fashioned.
I have major issues with Línterdit, but I absolutely love the Intense (the black version); it's perfect for my nose. A bit nutty, a little more robust.
I don't smell the rose, but I definitely get a strong whiff of the bubblegum tuberose. Could it be that your colleague wore a different version of the fragrance - maybe "L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge"?
