L'Interdit Givenchy 2023 Eau de Parfum Rouge Ultime

I recently reviewed the original "L'Interdit (Eau de Parfum Rouge) | Givenchy." Here follows a review of the flanker Rouge Ultime. According to Parfumo, this fragrance is a limited edition. Quite possible, as most (small) flankers tend to disappear over time. Sometimes quite quickly, especially with less popular ones. This one should be tested by women before it vanishes again. For me, this Rouge Ultime is the most beautiful in this line. I like all of them extremely well, but this one is one of the most beautiful women's fragrances I have ever tested. This is a scent that is very seductive and will likely appeal to men as well. In my eyes, it's a perfect evening fragrance that can impress women and make them feel good.

The L'Interdit line is simply superb. The hallmark of this line is, of course, this wonderful tuberose note, which is even more dominant in the other fragrances of this line. Here in this Rouge Ultime, you get a wonderfully balanced mix of flowers, sweet notes, and a touch of pleasant mild spice. The tuberose has been somewhat toned down here, settling into a mix of jasmine, orange blossom, and a bit of neroli. The tuberose is still in the foreground of this floral mix, but as mentioned, it is perfectly balanced and soft. Alongside the tuberose, the cocoa shell is the star of this creation. A soft sweet cocoa note with gentle mild spice. It is followed by beautiful dark patchouli, which, in my opinion, perfectly rounds off this dark and mysterious vibe. A fragrance that captivates me and somehow draws me in. Also, this gentle woody note that becomes stronger towards the base is simply buttery soft and pleasant. Overall, for me, a fragrance with a lot of sex appeal.
Performance is top-notch like all in this line. Tuberose fragrances are generally very dominant, and here it just fits. Not too overpowering, but clearly perceptible from a minimum of 8 hours of longevity. Perfect for evening activities, especially with slightly more elegant outfits. It is also not unbearable in everyday casual outfits. However, it shines much better in the evening.

For me, one of my absolute favorite women's fragrances. It's a shame that this is only a limited edition. The original Rouge is, however, similarly good and also worth purchasing.
