Beautiful flanker with DNA of the original Rouge
I recently reviewed the original L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge. Here follows one on the flanker Rouge Ultime. According to Parfumo, this fragrance is a limited edition. Quite possible, as most (small) flankers usually disappear over time. Sometimes quite quickly, especially with shelf warmers. A woman should test this one before it disappears again. For me, this Rouge Ultime is the most beautiful in this range. I like all of them extremely well, but for me this is one of the most beautiful women's fragrances I have ever tested. It is a fragrance that is very seductive and will probably also go down really well with men. A perfect evening fragrance in my eyes, with which a woman can score points and also feel good.
The L'Interdit range is simply great. The trademark of this range is, of course, this great tuberose note, which is even more dominant in the other fragrances in this range. In this Rouge Ultime, you get a great, balanced blend of flowers, sweet notes and some pleasant, mild spice. As already mentioned, the tuberose has been toned down a little and is balanced by a mix of jasmine, orange blossom and a little neroli. The tuberose is still in the foreground in this floral mix, but here, as mentioned, it is perfectly balanced and soft. Alongside the tuberose, the cocoa shell is the star of this creation. A soft, sweet cocoa note with a soft, gentle spiciness. This is followed by beautiful dark patchouli, which in my opinion rounds off this dark and mysterious vibe perfectly. A fragrance that captivates and somehow attracts me. This gentle woody note, which becomes stronger towards the base, is simply soft and pleasant. All in all, for me a fragrance with a lot of sex appeal.
Like all fragrances in this series, performance is top. Tuberose fragrances are usually very dominant and here it just fits. Not too penetrating, but clearly perceptible close to the skin and lasts for at least 8 hours. Perfect for evening activities, especially with more elegant outfits. It is also not unbearable in everyday life with casual outfits. However, it is much better in the evening.
For me, one of my absolute ladies' favorites. It's a shame that this is only a limited edition. However, the Original Rouge is just as good and is also worth buying.
