L'Interdit Rouge's cuddlier, seductive sister
While L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge comes with tangy blood orange and spicy allspice and makes a sexy hip swing. Becomes L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge Ultime more powdery and cuddly by the contained cocoa, which makes it for me a wonderful Ausgehduft for the fall and winter. The L'Interdit Rouge is more summery for me and the Ultimate is the version to it which is like a cashmere sweater of cocoa and vetiver over jasmine, neroli, orange blossom and tuberose. Which makes it absolutely sexy and seductive. In the evening, the fragrance comes into its own better, since he can properly develop his full presence there.
The sillage and durability is also exactly the same as the L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge and you perceive him easily 7- 8 hours. Who loves the L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge will also love the Ultimate, I'm sure. :)

A great successful upgrade
In the normal blush disturbs me something that the patchouli smells too extreme so that one hardly perceives other components.
Here you can also smell patchouli but finally the other centerpieces also come to light.
The flacons look just great and noble.
The fragrance is very intense and more for the evening or in everyday life if you want to make a statement. For work he is a little drüber and I would advise against.
These fragrances are already very special but great. He smells noble warmer than the rouge and more pleasant as already mentioned above in his patchouli note.

Sweet, just sweet
Salve! Read for a long time here comments and statements on fragrances that interest me or compare the fragrance composition. So far I have not written a review, because I often can not sniff out the individual components. Therefore, I have always read here to find commonalities in fragrances that I like or dislike. Now that I've tested the new L'Interdit, I'm writing my first review. Why? Well, this fragrance just blows me away. Not in a positive way, though. I just find it unbearably sweet. Instant headache. The same happens to me with almost all Chanel perfumes and also with Armani Code, for example. And what do these fragrances have in common? Orange blossom/neroli, jasmine and/or tuberose. Then vetiver or tonka bean on top and ready is the headache candidate. A fragrance for young women for whom it can not be sweet and intense enough. Way too much, I had to wash it off immediately and still smelled for a long time, so the durability is as strong as the intensity. I have at home citrus trees, whose flowers smell so wonderful, and find it sooo sad that the perfumes with ingredient "orange blossom or neroli" are always so slayingly violent.

Mysterious strangers
I find myself in a casual
Nightclub in Paris. The crowd ranges from young to old. A few drinks with my friends, nothing else exciting. Soon I want to make my way home, the day has been long and I can feel the alcohol slowly going to my head. Suddenly I notice a sweet, intense, strong smell. My gaze wanders around and I see this woman. She catches my eye, she must be new here. Standing there against the wall but unaccompanied. *strange* Dressed in black, she turns her back on us. Why is she here, where does she come from or what does she want here? Long black hair, tight long dress, high shiny heels. A shimmer seems to surround her, she is special, completely different from everyone here. No matter how I turn, I can't see her face, the light is too dim.
Yet her aura is so mysterious, majestic, dark and intense. You can even see it from my distance. It's not just me, many people have their eyes on her. It is conspicuously loud and quiet at the same time and always maintains its identity and stays in its place. I want to find out more about her, I think about approaching her. I don't know exactly, she has cast a spell over me. I can't think of anything else and now I wander through the room and then back in her direction. There is no trace of this strange lady, only her scent of heavenly tuberose, cocoa shell and patchouli.

Holy Grail
My interest in perfume slumbered long and deep within me like Smaug in Erebor. One day, as I was lost in thought on my way home, a woman walked past me, closely followed by a large and heavy cloud of vanilla scent. But neither the woman nor the scent itself awakened the dragon, it was rather the thought - no: the longing to be a cloud. Something free, fleeting, invisible and unapproachable...

At the beginning of my journey, I played it safe and bought a few of the most popular designer fragrances on the market, the so-called People Pleasers. Gradually, I got to know the fragrances and became more and more confident about which direction I wanted to go in and which not. At the same time, I tried to remain open to "detours". When I had collected a few bottles that I liked but didn't exactly take my shoes off, I began to wonder if that was all there was to it. I started to hang around in niches, fatally, chasing the dream of the (for me) perfect fragrance. After more than half a year, I was tired of chasing and resignedly began to watch others go shopping.

And then I saw this one perfume haul on YouTube. When a certain YouTuber (if you know, you know) held the red bottle up to the camera, I first thought that I already had two L'Interdits and lost interest. But then he said something that stuck with me: "This smells like Monica Bellucci". Bam. Inception accepted!

There was just one problem. The YouTuber had bought the L'Interdit Rouge, but there was still the Ultime - was it perhaps even "better"? So I watched more videos trying to compare the two versions. It didn't help until I found a short video saying that the Ultime was a bit "rounder" and more suitable for the masses, which brought me back to the beginning of my journey. So I decided to go for the potential People Pleaser.

A few weeks later, I held the L'Interdit Rouge Ultime in my hand and was annoyed. What had I been thinking? Anyway, I decided that if it smelled just a little like the original, it could stay. However, I was more or less setting myself up for disappointment.

I sprayed the fragrance into the crook of my arm, waited a few seconds and held my arm in front of my face. And what can I say...oh my God - OMG! I heard the angels singing.
That typical L'Interdit tuberose together with the cocoa note and - uff, just awesome. I could have cried. The search for the perfect fragrance is over.
