Pièce Unique Grès 2015

I am so glad that this masterpiece has made its way into my collection. I ordered the fragrance blind based on reviews. It didn't cost much. But it is worth at least as much as the expensive niche fragrances in my collection.

Piece Unique is truly a one-of-a-kind. Above all, I find the scent thoroughly feminine in the best sense - a fragrance for a woman who wants to be a woman. She knows who she is and what she is worth. She doesn't need masculine, quirky, extravagant scents to present herself. She is simply there, as she is, and smells elegant, fresh, high-quality but also extraordinary. Dressed in the finest fabrics, no polyester, no viscose, no glitter and nonsense. She doesn't need that. I have associations with silk and fine cashmere.

Those who like Hermes creations and appreciate Chanel DNA could also be happy here. The scent shows class apart from today's trends, such as overwhelming wood synthetics and numbing sweetness.

The freshness of pink pepper, green spice from angelica, delicate leather, juicy plum, and incense merge into an extraordinary elegance. In the opening, pink pepper and mandarin provide a slightly sharp refreshment. As it develops, the fragrance becomes warmer, softer, woodier, but never too sweet and never too synthetic.

Unfortunately, the fragrance also has a weakness. After 2 hours, it fades away, leaving only a light hint of the scent on the skin. It's a pity, as there isn't a proper base developing on my skin. It could be wonderful. Reapplying is not a problem at this price, but it's a small deduction in the B-note.
