Rebellion Gritti 2021

Once again, a great find - from the extended search for green fragrances, to the sample from the souk, and finally to the bottle and my new signature scent. I have truly come to love it. This fragrance is completely under the radar.

At first, I found it a bit edgy, as I had imagined the scent to be a bit fresher based on the pyramid. It is indeed fresh in the top notes, but this is one of those fragrances that changes through all three phases of the pyramid and is not as linear as many others.

The bitter lemon peel and mint create a really nice start, and quite quickly the green notes of shiso leaf and cypress join in. Only a hint of the fruity notes can be detected. Amber, oak moss, and patchouli create a darker, earthy base that, in my opinion, leans quite masculine. A very unique creation that stands out from many fragrances.

My wife really likes this scent on me. Since I also love it, I have made it my new signature scent, as it is suitable for occasions from autumn to spring. Unfortunately, in summer, at high temperatures, the scent dissipates too quickly. It is a very good blend of fresh - green - earthy, that doesn’t clash anywhere. It is also easy to wear at work.

Sillage is good, but not too dominant, and longevity on my skin is also great.
I am very satisfied with my new rebellion!
