The elegant colleague at work

For me it is a very elegant signature fragrance for someone looking for a balanced classic scent Fresh, green, earthy with a bit of patchouli. The whole with shizo (perilla) notes that crystallize the authenticity of the fragrance.
It reminds me of Uden by Xerjoff, but Luca Gritti has always done his own thing.
Price is ok, you should sometimes spray again during the day to keep the fragrance pleasant.
I'm glad I bought the fragrance blind in my collection :-)

Discreetly rebellious

Somehow I don't really warm to the fragrances from Gritti.

I now own/owned four very different Grittis and have been able to test more than a dozen - all of them have more or less one thing in common: very mediocre durability and radiance.

Rebellion is no great exception here, but in comparison it is one of the longer-lasting Grittis.

However, I find Rebellion too synthetic for a mid-priced niche fragrance. It has a certain sharpness that gives me a slight headache when I sniff it too intensely.

i still like it best in the drydown, even if it really only remains perceptible close to the skin. The pungent nose is no longer there and the amber makes it softer and more balanced.

It has certain similarities with Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême, which is really a serious & good alternative.

To be honest, I would even recommend this more, as the Chanel is a bit rounder & softer due to the sweetness.

Ultimately, I find Rebellion to be a nice, fresh green everyday fragrance with a certain edge, but without standing out. Due to the synthetic undertone, the mediocre H/S & the rather high price, it is not interesting enough for a purchase.
