Shape Shifter
First of all, one should not expect a proverbial supernova, as the Super Nova is neither short-lived nor does it start with an explosion, but rather quietly. But well, in space, you can't hear anything anyway.
This fragrance should definitely be tested on the skin. While it was hardly perceptible and very gentle on the testing strip in the perfume store, it developed on my hand and everything that came into contact with it into something I had never experienced before.
To begin with, my experience with aquatics is limited. Therefore, I can't really categorize the Super Nova yet. However, I can say that the scent is very interesting and lasts extremely long while projecting well. Normally, my skin absorbs scents quite quickly, but this one was still detectable days after application, despite showering and washing my hands. My jacket and sweater still filled rooms with the scent days later. I had not experienced anything like that before, which is both a plus and a minus.
The fragrance starts softly and fresh with the pepper and artemisia, but later drifts into a seemingly increasingly stronger synthetic quality of metallic and salty notes, which offer great potential for headaches. The longevity makes it even worse. Although the scent has something, it eventually became annoying for my girlfriend and me due to its omnipresence. The headache aspect even caused a slight feeling of disgust. It was simply too much, and one could not escape the scent. I could not perceive oud or gunpowder.
The creation is definitely something special, and I have not smelled anything comparable before. The price-performance ratio is great, especially for a fresh fragrance. I would not recommend more than one spray to anyone.
Whether one perceives time as relative and wants to see the scent metaphorically as the entire course of a supernova, or rather views it as a measurable aftereffect in infinity, is left to each individual. In any case, it is a great experiment that positively confuses.
With some distance, I will certainly test the fragrance again and possibly adjust my review.
