Sci-fi Scent

I tested Super Nova because it was recommended as a gunpowder scent. It really isn't that - whatever gunpowder is there is pretty well blended, perhaps only adding to the mineral/metallic accords. So, that was a disappointment but I ended up really like the fragrance. Super Nova evolves like a wave. It opens very metallic and mineral. Suddenly, a citrus-y and somewhat sweet scent appears. That doesn't last long and it returns to a scent that's almost identical to the metallic/mineral opening. The dry down scent is a bit deeper than the opening.

To describe the scent, it's almost like the smell of a newly printed magazine, similar to Ganymede but way better. Super Nova's performance is also way better than Ganymede (current version tested from a sample). Longevity is quite good, still going strong after 8 hours. Projection is more modest after the first hour. While I was disappointed with Ganymede, I'm definitely picking up a bottle of Super Nova.

Super Nova is the fume that Commander J.J. Adams wears.

An obvious truth, yet one worth repeating — especially here. Applying it to your wrist and sniffing it up close with all your might might just put you off (not to mention give you a headache), as clashing notes jostle for attention.

I'm a huge fan of Ganymede, so of course I had to try the Super Nova. Thanks to a sharing, I was able to get hold of a good bottle. Thank you Souk for being there. Thumbs up to the best platform in the world. Parfumo, I will tattoo it on my chest. Chacka
But this is not about Parfumo, but about the fragrance Super Nova. The following fragrances share the DNA: Ganymede Eau de Parfum Stallion Opuluxe Masa and the Calestial by Emir. I was able to test all of them and I have some in my collection.
The Super Nova has a nice metallic mineral start and you can immediately recognize the DNA. Without a doubt, this is the Ganymede with all its moons. Which ingredient is responsible for this is in my opinion
the saffron or here the pepper with the Artemis. Well done Luca but it didn't have to be. There is only one OG and that is Ganymede Eau de Parfum. I compare this DNA to Coca Cola. There are umpteen different ones, but I would be able to taste the originals blind among 100 different ones.
The shelf life and silage are good but far from very good. A 7.5/10. Ganymede by batch is a 10/10.
Buy recommendation: yes and no. I'm a fan of Gritti and that's the only reason I would buy it, but if you like the DNA and it appeals to you, then please go for Ganymede. You will not regret it.

The Dis - Dance

In the niche world, I've already met a few transformation artists who change their scent over the course of several hours and smell completely different on skin and clothing, but this fragrance creates something that I have never experienced in this form;

It smells completely different depending on the distance. I have already experienced this with other fragrances, but it is new to me in such an extreme way.
Please don't be intimidated by the fragrance pyramid, this is not a pencil-lead-metal-T-800 banger à la Noir Anthracite - which I had actually expected and also find exciting - but an extremely invigorating, ozone-like freshie with exciting twists.

The fragrance proves its chameleon kinship by playing with distance.

The sillage is enormous. Room-filling - extremely unusual for an extrait. Sprayed onto a perfume card and placed in the room, it spreads an unobtrusive, pleasant ozone freshness as mentioned before. When you leave the room and come back, you realize how strong it is. Placed in the hallway, this freshness accompanies you every time with the slightest breeze. Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum becomes envious here, I have rarely experienced anything like it.

However, when you get closer to the card - or the sprayed piece of skin - Super Nova shows its second face. Here it becomes metallic, cool, earthy - and you start to doubt that the freshness from a moment ago couldn't have come from this place after all.

Overall, I find the fragrance concept totally exciting; space suits are said to smell like gunpowder as soon as you have taken your first walk. So you have the smell of space, the metal of spaceships, gloomy, earthy end-time notes and the ozony, lonely freshness of new beginnings - all captured in one bottle.

Perhaps too simplistic for some, too linear in its progression, boring. When it comes to cooking, they say "the eye eats with you" - with fragrances, I say "the brain smells with you" - but as a concept and old sci-fi fan, I think this fragrance is just great.

First of all, you shouldn't expect a proverbial supernova, because the Super Nova is neither short-lived, nor does it start with an explosion, but rather quietly. But well, you can't hear anything in space.

You should definitely test this fragrance on your skin. While it was barely perceptible on the test strip in the perfumery and very soft in its form, it developed on my hand and everything that came into contact with it into something that I had never experienced before.

First of all, my experience with aquatics is limited. So I can't really classify Super Nova yet. However, I can say that the fragrance is very interesting and lasts and projects for an extremely long time. My skin normally absorbs fragrances quite quickly, but I could still smell this one days after applying it, despite showering and washing my hands. My jacket and sweater were still filling rooms with the
Fragrance. I had never experienced this before and it is both a plus and a minus.

While the fragrance starts out soft and fresh with pepper and artemisia, it later drifts into an increasingly synthetic feeling of metallic and salty notes, which offer great potential for headaches. This is made even worse by the persistence. Although the fragrance has something, it got on my and my girlfriend's nerves at some point due to its omnipresence. The headache aspect even made it slightly nauseating. It was just too much and you couldn't escape the scent. I couldn't detect any oud or gunpowder.

The creation is definitely something special and I haven't smelled anything comparable yet. The price-performance ratio is great, especially for a fresh fragrance. I wouldn't recommend more than one spray to anyone.

Whether you understand time as relative and want to see the fragrance metaphorically as the entire course of a supernova, or rather see it as a measurable after-effect in infinity, is up to you. In any case, it is a great experiment that positively confuses.

After some time, I will certainly test the fragrance again and then adjust my review if necessary.
