Woulda-coulda-...
In 2004, on a tight budget, I was faced with a choice at Douglas: Gucci Homme or Eau d'Issey. It then became the latter. The story of the Issey does not belong here, it was very amicable, that much is revealed. I only came across the Gucci again when the Gucci II was discontinued and the double lament broke out. I had tested the Gucci II during the sale and found it to be quite okay. Curiosity then ensured a vintage bottling of the number 1 and lo and behold, remorse set in.
