Currently, one perfume commercial after another is airing on TV - of course, it's the pre-Christmas season, and they want to entice customers with the scents.
I enjoy watching the clips, as they are usually imaginative and creative.
Moreover, they spark my interest in the respective fragrances being advertised.
Gucci has captured me with the snow-white poodle on a colorful flower meadow.
Does the scent live up to what this beautiful image promises?
I say a definite yes, as the lush jasmine is radiant white and vibrant - accompanied by enchanting tuberose.
The mandarin keeps the scent aquatic and transparent, so it doesn't become too much of a good thing.
The neroli adds a pleasant coolness that emphasizes the brightness of Bloom.
Light woods frame the scent profile.
Now in winter, it paints white ice flowers on the windowpane - in spring, it will reflect the sun's rays.
I am not at all fooled by the advertising, as the scent conveys exactly what the clip promises.
