Okay, but nothing to write home about...

Sampled this. Reading the notes, I would have expected something more neroli- or orangeblossom-ish, but the neroli and organgeblossom are modest in this fragrance, which is good I think (nothing really cloying). Smelling the sample before spraying, the tuberose made me think: 'Oh no, not another Amarige-like scent, please!', but on my skin it is much more gentle. Wearable in spring and summer I'd say. I'm picking up quite some sillage when moving around; longevity I can't judge yet, but I expect that to be decent. I don't mind it, but it doesn't thrill me either.
A bit 'mainstream' and - loving the more vintage smelling perfumes - too modern for my likes, I guess.
Migraine prone persons should be aware that this can be a bit headache inducing.

Decent white floral

Where many white floral perfumes are big and dramatic in presentation, Bloom EDT stays decent and evokes a pretty but harmless picture of a flower field in springtime. Honey bees dancing amongst rays of sunshine in the fragrant air. A bohemian vibe rather than burlesque.

I can not fully compare with the original Bloom Eau de Parfum as I have only tried that one on a blotter, but it seems the scent profile is pretty similar. A bouquet of white florals with little to no other notes. I reckon the EDT is a lovely spring or summer scent with its mild intensity. Definitely worth a try.

A White Poodle on a Flower Meadow

Currently, one perfume commercial after another is airing on TV - of course, it's the pre-Christmas season, and they want to entice customers with the scents.
I enjoy watching the clips, as they are usually imaginative and creative.
Moreover, they spark my interest in the respective fragrances being advertised.
Gucci has captured me with the snow-white poodle on a colorful flower meadow.
Does the scent live up to what this beautiful image promises?
I say a definite yes, as the lush jasmine is radiant white and vibrant - accompanied by enchanting tuberose.
The mandarin keeps the scent aquatic and transparent, so it doesn't become too much of a good thing.
The neroli adds a pleasant coolness that emphasizes the brightness of Bloom.
Light woods frame the scent profile.
Now in winter, it paints white ice flowers on the windowpane - in spring, it will reflect the sun's rays.
I am not at all fooled by the advertising, as the scent conveys exactly what the clip promises.
