Uninspired and one-dimensional
The initial cloud was floral and creamy, like an overly sweet custard. Less powdery than I feared. Not great, not terrible. Ozonic notes were pretty pronounced and made the whole thing almost palatable. At that point I was even kind of hopeful about it. There was potential that once the initial cloud subsides and the fragrance properly opens up, I might actually enjoy it!
Well, that never happened. The ozone was a delight and this perfume's only saving grace for me personally, but it wasn't enough to offset the sweetness. The initial aggressive cloud took about 40 minutes to mellow out (or maybe my nose just gave up by then?), but even past that point nothing really ever changed. There was the basic vanilla, there was the orchid, they were both so sweet that my teeth hurt. If one could get diabetes from smell alone, this thing would probably already be outlawed in a few European countries.
It's hard to put this feeling into words, but I felt like it never became a proper sum of its parts. Like each of the three simple notes were there on their own, never really mixing together into a proper composition. Battling for my attention and overloading my senses in the process instead of working together to create something worthwhile.
It never evolved or changed in a meaningful way, just slowly got less and less obnoxious until it disappeared from my skin completely in about 3 hours. Far from the worst fragrance I came across thus far, but for that price tag I found the execution too cheap and uninspired.
