Unique

I always loved gucci as a brand, but in terms of fragrances I was dissapointed. Guilty Edt was synthetic and so weak, guilty elixir was also synthetic and so sweet, but it was strong. Guilty parfum was AMAZING in terms of smell but again, it was so weak, Guilty absolute was really good, but it was right opposite of the “Mass Appealing” and was just too dark for me to wear. The only gucci left was the edp, so I am here to tell you about my experience with it. Opening is… different. Chili, rose, salt and balsamic vinegar opening is something you would not easily see in a fragrance, especially if that fragrance is a designer. I was suprised at first, then i fell in love with it. Opening is the most controversial and imo the best part of the fragrance. In middle, we see orange blossom and lavender which gives a clean and floral smell and at the base Patchouli and Cedar will give a woody scent. The scent remains dark, woody, mysterious and unique while also staying floral and clean for the mass appeal. Performance is just average. You can expect somewhere 5-8 hours depending on your skin type and you will get about a foot of projection for maybe first hour and it will become a skin scent. Lasts a decent time but it doesn’t projects good. Season-wise it is not fresh enough for summer in my opinion and lacks the strength of sweet notes for the winter, so it will be best for fall and spring, but if you decide to use it in winter or summer, I don’t think people will complain. Price is kind of expensive so definitely buy it on a discount. The biggest pro and con on this fragrance is actually the same: So unique. I definitely like it but I don’t know about the others, I got a few compliments but also some of my friends didn’t like it at all because of the vinegar note. Definitely sample before a full purchase, not suitable for a blind buy.
