Savory not sweet
Although this scent has some mainstream characteristics that some of us seem allergic to, it is not at all bland. Personally, I enjoy the occasional freshy. And this one in particular because it doesn't go sweet or vanilla. There is rose indeed and it has a bit of saltiness for a fun twist. Easy-going and friendly smell with decent longevity.

I'm happy with my free sample and when I see a good discount on this I'll grab a full bottle.

Sexy, Savory, Earthy, and Unique
I think about this one a lot. After testing more than 400 frags, nothing smells like Gucci Guilty EDP. It's fresh, but dirty. Beautiful rose forward fougere, with salt and pepper notes, drying down to a chocolatey patchouli. It's almost a niche style Eros Flame.

Super versatile. Casual or dressed-up, go anywhere type of scent. Works especially well in the transitional months, as well as nighttime year round.

I find it performs very adequately.

Best from the line for me. Designer unique-ness done right.

Unique
I always loved gucci as a brand, but in terms of fragrances I was dissapointed. Guilty Edt was synthetic and so weak, guilty elixir was also synthetic and so sweet, but it was strong. Guilty parfum was AMAZING in terms of smell but again, it was so weak, Guilty absolute was really good, but it was right opposite of the “Mass Appealing” and was just too dark for me to wear. The only gucci left was the edp, so I am here to tell you about my experience with it. Opening is… different. Chili, rose, salt and balsamic vinegar opening is something you would not easily see in a fragrance, especially if that fragrance is a designer. I was suprised at first, then i fell in love with it. Opening is the most controversial and imo the best part of the fragrance. In middle, we see orange blossom and lavender which gives a clean and floral smell and at the base Patchouli and Cedar will give a woody scent. The scent remains dark, woody, mysterious and unique while also staying floral and clean for the mass appeal. Performance is just average. You can expect somewhere 5-8 hours depending on your skin type and you will get about a foot of projection for maybe first hour and it will become a skin scent. Lasts a decent time but it doesn’t projects good. Season-wise it is not fresh enough for summer in my opinion and lacks the strength of sweet notes for the winter, so it will be best for fall and spring, but if you decide to use it in winter or summer, I don’t think people will complain. Price is kind of expensive so definitely buy it on a discount. The biggest pro and con on this fragrance is actually the same: So unique. I definitely like it but I don’t know about the others, I got a few compliments but also some of my friends didn’t like it at all because of the vinegar note. Definitely sample before a full purchase, not suitable for a blind buy.

Creamy and beautiful rose
It is one of those perfumes that I had to buy because I had tried it, a practice that every perfume enthusiast enacts but few follow through on. This creation offers something that could be classified as unique, in light of the fact that it is difficult to try to associate it with something you have known or smelled before. In my opinion, it is an absolutely unisex perfume. The rose is the protagonist from the start, where the chili pepper shines only a little and then the white flowers appear, mainly orange blossom and almost no neroli, and some woods in the background. I cannot feel the lavender and patchouli, which would give it a rougher and more masculine character. It is not a very evolutionary perfume, offering practically the same from beginning to end. It is fine, creamy, bright, and feels more comfortable in warm temperatures and during the day. It is really charming and distinguished, elegant and quite unique. The negative part is its performance, irradiating moderately around the hour and falling quickly on the skin to die before 5 hours. It is well worth compulsively pressing the spray, and if necessary reapplying, because you enjoy it.

Short but Savoury
Opens on a strong white whine vinegar and salt, which is interesting and works well for warmer weather. Dries down to a nice spicy rose with a creamy orange note.

Not great longevity or sillage on my skin, the opening notes are there for a very short while before the rose takes center stage (not a bad thing necessarily). After that it becomes closer to a skin scent, that disappears after 4-5 hours. After a couple of hours the rose still remains but the orange blossom is replaced by a weak note of dry cedarwood.

Regardless of what the bottle says this leans heavily unisex with the fresh opening and the later spicy rose offering a sort of sensual discovery closer to the skin, which I would appreciate on both men and women.

Overall a nice and unique warm weather fragrance without aquatic or citrusy notes, which although they're obviously appreciated, can feel rather outplayed by the end of the warmer season. My daily for spring.

Books I associate with this fragrance:
Slow-burning romance. Creeping ever closer until the discovery of the sensuality and warmth buried close to the skin. Alternatively a shorter, romantic story (perhaps reflecting the shorter life of the perfume)
1984- George Orwell
City of My Dreams- Per Anders Fogelström
White Nights- Dostoyevsky

If you know the OG you know em all. A bit darker, slight rose nuances but other than that nothing special. Pleasant but nothing more

This smells like sour vomit and bad eggs to me. The rose & vinegar is particularly offensive. Also completely boring. Never gonna wear this.

Kind of a signature. Definitely a standard in warm weather, 55-75° is ideal. The salt & rose/vinegar make it savory. It's good not great

A tad spicier and better blended than the original. Though, like the original, it still wasn’t anything special to my nose.

Light scent. Too light for the price. Due to its name, I though I would get some sillage

Decent savoury fragrance, one of Gucci's more pleasant and desirable offerings but nothing too necessary to have in one's collection.

Really good on what it does, being special, fragant, fresh and floral. It's a fun frag to smell, but would not have it as signature. Spring.

Exciting opening with a standout chili, dries down into "unscented body lotion". Creamy, woody base with a floral feel and vinegary twist.
