This is what a successful woman smells like...

...finally, today I am testing my first women's fragrance..thanks to Dobbs for that. I was very curious about what it would be like to test a women's fragrance as a man compared to smelling it on a woman...for me, these are two completely different worlds...perhaps not so distracted while testing..chuckles..

I already know most of the men's Guerlain fragrances, even though I am not yet familiar with the Derbies and Lupins of this world...most of them have pleased me, except for Habit Rouge..and they were all superbly crafted..a craftsmanship of the highest level.

With Noire, it is the same..it says Guerlain on it and you get Guerlain..which means many wonderful natural essences..extraordinary combinations of fragrance notes and always a dreamy development.

Noire immediately painted a picture on my wall..“..this is what a wonderful and successful woman smells like”..a stylish woman in a pantsuit with an elegant blouse and a silk scarf..dark-haired..beautiful elegant closed shoes..an elegant black briefcase..everything in a business look....perfectly coordinated..she radiates a natural authority and charm..not in a strict, trained manner..forced by the job..but completely naturally...in the sense of a charming and self-confident woman.

Of course, this extraordinary and beautiful fragrance also starts off well. The first thing I perceive and that literally envelops me...is a floral note...not entirely green..but like from white flowers and slightly sweet..similar to how Charmes et Feuilles from TDC starts, just without the mint and sweeter. The wonderful subtle sweetness of very ripe yellow pears emerges..not the sharpness of Assenzio from Borsari...but the soft, lovely sweetness like from a fruit bowl that has been sitting for 2 days...the pear fades after 30 minutes...the flowers remain throughout the entire fragrance progression...essentially the backbone of this Guerlain.

For me, however, the most beautiful aspect of A. Noire is the very naturally smelling vanilla..which delicately and always subtly knocks at the door in the background..simply wonderful...for me, the most beautiful vanilla after Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford..simply because it is wonderfully unsweet-sweet and holds itself in the background as stylishly as the woman wearing this fragrance..but still unfolds its full effect and is aware of it. The floral flower note with delicate and increasingly prominent vanilla towards the end is simply a charming and enchanting blend.

How I would love to smell this fragrance on a woman RIGHT NOW....

The longevity is great at over 7 hours..even the next morning I could faintly recognize the vanilla..that is for me GUERLAIN QUALITY...the magic that defines and distinguishes the brand.

Ladies' fragrance? It's definitely on my must-buy list. I find it pretty unisex. Great scent!
