Guerlain's Summer Feeling

For the second summer in a row, Coconut Fizz is a summer favorite for me ...
it's about time to dedicate a comment to this wonderful fragrance!

"The summer makes people dream!"
-Paul Keller-

I dream myself into the coconut water paradise ... white beaches, palm trees, sea breeze, turquoise Caribbean feeling :)

About the scent:
Coconut Fizz actually starts immediately with a creamy and completely unsweet coconut.
Bergamot comes through and gives the fragrance a delicate citrus note. I also perceive freesia as a subtle floral veil. Where the fruits are supposed to be hiding, I can't say ... luckily I don't smell any sour cucumber as described by some here :)
Woody notes from sandalwood and a rather dry-mineral tonka bean (which is not overly sweet) are also present. Of course, musk cannot be missing, even though it doesn't appear in the pyramid :)
Creamy-woody-musky is the base with the coconut that really has a long-lasting presence :)
For me, it's not a typical coconut scent (the usual suspects like Tiarè, Frangipani, etc. are missing), and that's exactly why I like it so much, also because the scent doesn't remind me of Raffaello as it often does with coconut.
Wearable especially in summer but also a mood lifter in spring.
Unisex absolutely!
The bottle is, as always, a real eye-catcher.
The longevity is just under 7 hours, which is not bad for an Aqua Allegoria. The sillage is rather quiet, but that doesn't matter at all for summer fragrances!

Conclusion:
I'm in coconut water paradise :)
*Aloha*
Not too sweet & wonderfully creamy-woody musk in the base!
Guerlain's summer feeling ... mmmhh :)

It's definitely worth a try!
Fortunately, it's now available here as well, because initially it was said that Germany didn't buy it ;)

I've been wearing the scent for a long time now, but you've shown me new aspects of it. Thank you for that!

I love this scent. It's on my summer wishlist. It lasts over 6 hours on me, which I think is pretty good for a summer fragrance. There's a hint of cucumber in it for me, but it doesn't bother me at all.

.. would be perfect for today’s summer day :)) .. it reminds me of this song: " .. South Sea dreams are just bubbles - that’s why Rudi stays at home .. " (Rucki Zucki Palmen Combi)

I thought it was quite nice, but after a short time, there was nothing left of it for me.

Nice comment, I agree! I also get a hint of cucumber or melon, and I seem to be the only one on Parfumo who likes that :P

I had taken it off my wishlist because of the mentioned cucumber. Your comment gives me hope again :)

That sounds great (and even better since it apparently doesn't have any white flowers). So summer can finally kick off for you ;-))

I already really like the whole line from Guerlain anyway. And this one is definitely something for Mrs. Can. And maybe something for me too!? Summer dream trophy!

Oh, it was beautiful. If only I liked wearing coconut...

I don't know that one yet; I've always been critical of coconut. But now it's made it to my must-have list. By the way, I feel the same way about Teazurra. It's already the third summer in a row that I've really enjoyed wearing it.

I also wore it with enthusiasm for a summer. However, I've kind of fallen out of love with it now.

Sounds good. Blonze Goddess Aquadingens gives off a similar vibe. Coconut water, unsweetened and fresh.

Unfortunately, I felt the same way as Gelis. Cucumber salad. But it's great that it works for you. Awesome comment!

Nice to read a comment from you again! For me, the scent was more like summer on my balcony, as it didn't really take me far away, but I still found it charming. And a summer on the balcony has its own appeal too ;-)

Nice comment! ;-) However, this Allegoria didn't convince me much. My top summer scent has been Mandarine Basilic for a long time, closely followed by Granada Salvia and Bergamote Calabria, which always reminds me of pine forests, sunshine, the sea, and our trips to Italy!

You're right: It's precisely because it deviates from the usual coconut scent patterns that it's so charming. It's got something!

Unfortunately, I belong in the cucumber corner with this scent.
