Also a Guerlain

Actually, I don't want to comment too much, but this beautiful fragrance is challenging me to write about it.

This wonderful scent reminds me of Insolence, whether as EdT or EdP or even the Extrait. It has this beautifully soft, powdery iris note that can only be found at Guerlain. Some describe this note as Guerlinade. This note is also very prominent in Shalimar Initial L'Eau, but even stronger, which is very well received by many perfume lovers, as it is incomparably beautiful.

The main component is the peony, which alternates with the fine iris note and I mean a slightly citrusy note. Very faintly, small dark berries can be perceived.
The citrus and the iris both compete for dominance, but neither can win, as the peony is stronger and always stands out.

These 4 components (peony, iris, citrus, and very light berries) form the entire fragrance, and after a certain time, the citrus recedes, leaving behind the peony and the gentle iris, while the small berries have previously vanished, or rather evaporated.

That is the entire scent progression, and I find it sufficient. More would ruin the fragrance.
A scent that is always wearable, as it comes across as friendly and light, without anything dark, bitter, or disturbing.

Moreover, this fragrance feels extremely natural; one feels as if they are sniffing a peony. With such an old perfume house, it's no wonder, and Mr. Wasser simply has a knack for creating wonderful scents.

For an Eau de Toilette, it has good longevity and sillage and is also wearable all year round, as it possesses an extremely positive aura and immediately evokes feelings of happiness.

From me, a clear test recommendation.

I think it's exactly this naturalness that got me!
I've been sniffing around for the hot summer, and most candidates were too fruity-synthetic or too serious-chypre (I need something friendly for everyday work as a teacher with young children), while others were too watery.
What's nice about **Rosa Pop** is the friendly floral scent that has a cheeky wink to it. The fragrance is youthful without being too girly. I'm ordering now and won't write another comment!

Unfortunately, it didn't remind me of Insolence at all; I find it not powdery and way too sour. :(

Your comment really piques my curiosity because I'm also a huge fan of Shalimar Initial l‘Eau... I have to dig through my sample stash later and see... in the meantime, I'm leaving you an ice cream sundae for the great description :D

Yes, a feel-good scent. Insolence overwhelmed me. No chance to make any comparisons.
