Sorry, but there's just too much rose mixed in this citrus oriental with florals, carnation and vanilla on a leathery incense base.
It is very powdery and unfortunately, even at my 40+ years of age, I feel that this scent is way too adult (old mannish?) for me. I do like the way that the oud is discretely peeping out between the other notes, but it's not enough for me to like it.
If you, like me, feel that this is too adult for you but still enjoy some of the elements, I recommend you try out HR Dress Code, which is a more updated version that most guys could pull off.
I'm pretty sure it's gentlemanly as well classic, it's just not for me. Oh well, guess I'll have to stick to my beloved Guerlain Vetiver.
