Have a nice trip, Dad!

Last week my father passed away, peacefully, quietly and without a stir.
He's always been that way, and he died the way he lived. Just don't notice, what are people supposed to think?
In the end he had 45 kilos left over, in the end he simply had no strength left, and now he is no longer there.

I was with him in his last days, day and night. "L'heure de Nuit", my favourite fragrance, was with us and at least carried me during these exhausting and demanding hours. Even when his hour of the night actually dawned, this fragrance was there - powerful, pregnant and present.
I ragged weeks before his death to see if this choice would be the right one. Whether I will still like the smell "afterwards", because it will always have this connection.

And YES! I love this wonderful, clean, strong, deep fragrance now and forever!

Daddy liked him too - as soon as his front door unlocked to visit him, he knew I was there and you could watch him relax.

THAT, yes THAT, I will not forget this perfume and every time I choose it in the future, my beloved dad will be there and invisibly strengthen my back.

A few, for me irrelevant, but for the Parfumo-Kommentar not quite unimportant character traits of the fragrance:
powdery and soft, as so often with Guerlain. Adult and self-confident - no parallels to the newer Quietschis under Thierry Wasser. And - long-lasting, meaning durable. Here - so I think - he had a real great moment.

Probably -smile!- Because of my daddy. I guess that's the way it should have been.

Okay, I know:
i haven't told too much about the fragrance itself and its performance now, but somehow I find it rather difficult in this context. But there are enough other, quite great comments, which describe more the smell than a story behind it.
