Cucumber Meets Mint
Rosa Verde left me disappointed. With a name like that, I expected a delicate, green rose, something dewy, maybe a bit unexpected.
Instead, it opens with an assertive blast of cucumber and mint, and that’s pretty much all it gives. The freshness is undeniable, and it does stay light and clean throughout, but it leans too heavily into the culinary. It smells more like an infused water or a fancy appetizer than a fragrance. I kept waiting for the rose to appear, but it never did.
Not unpleasant, just not what I want to wear on my skin.
