Refreshing, watery, lovely!
The initial cloud smells like freshly chopped dill, lol. It's such an unexpected and fun smell that I almost wish it would last longer. But it dissipates within the first ~5 minutes and leaves you sipping on a cucumber cooler on a shaded garden terrace, so I'm not complaining.

Cucumber is the main character here from start to finish, supported by freshness of the mint and a realistic rose scent seeping in from somewhere deep below. At its strongest red rose gives the composition an almost honeyed flavor; but it always stays first and foremost fresh (in a "moisture evaporating from a glass of cool water on a hot summer day" way) and green.

On me it settled close to the skin in the first ~45 minutes and stayed pretty distinct for another hour. Past the ~2 hour mark it became faint, more like an aftertaste of nice soap on freshly washed hands.
When I tested the same perfume later on my partner, his skin brought out a lot more of the pear (which was almost invisible on me) and a bit more overall sweetness. It also lasted twice as long on him – about ~4 hours until it got to the gentle soap stage.

A joyful little scent that I may yet come back to if I'm ever in the mood for something green. I love that it managed to achieve that greenness without relying on the cheap lawn grass flavor. Refreshing!

Like diving into a cool water pool
Like a refreshing dive into cool water during a summer day. Guerlain followed their brief very well for this one and I have a feeling it'll be a hit when summer comes along.

A light Aqua Allegoria, it is a skin scent, so don't expect any scent bubble or beast mode fragrance here. It's perfect for the late spring days and the heart of summer due to its refreshing nature and notes. I wish the first few minutes had stayed longer. Every notes were perfectly balanced beautifully. I got the refreshing cool mint like the one found in Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca. There was a beautiful, slightly synthetic, fruity pear note and a green, watery cucumber note. Rose was fresh and bright, but also toned down to fit the vibe of the fragrance. Somewhere after about 15 minutes, I started getting a discordant note I can't quite describe. I have a feeling it comes from the pear and roses: it turned a bit plasticky. The drydown becomes musky and warm with a hint of floral green accord that lingers.

Since I'm not a fan of roses and not a fan of wearing pear notes on myself, I don't think I'll be going for a full bottle (unfortunately). I do have to say I really enjoyed the first few minutes when the notes were all masterfully well blended. It has a fresh, green and aquatic quality to it that I very much enjoyed, but the pear and roses might have turned a bit artificial and sour on my skin. Nonetheless, it's a very beautiful Aqua Allegoria fragrance that I'm sure the crowd will enjoy during summer!

Cucumber Water Rose Flavor
I tried it and was given a blotter card. It's cold, below 20 degrees, but I can still smell it on my skin after two hours. It's just like the Body Shop's Aqua Lily. (Top notes: Green apple, watermelon, tangerine, bamboo. Middle notes: Lily, lily of the valley, rose, violet. Base notes: Cedarwood, musk)

I got the official sample.
-After 5 seconds, it smells like rose potpourri for some reason
-After 10 minutes, it smells like pickled cucumber water, or lightly pickled cucumber
-After 15 minutes, it tastes like potpourri rose, seamlessly changing from the bitterness of cucumber
-After 20 minutes, it smells like some kind of bitterness. A bit of a headache. It tastes like kerosene or gasoline
-After 30 minutes, it smells like Japanese pear. Crunchy pear water with little sweetness or sourness (slightly gasoline

It's a very interesting scent, but it's difficult to justify the 15,400 yen price tag.If that's the case, I might want the Legendary Series. In Japan, they promote it by including a 1ml sample in a beauty magazine supplement (luxurious!)
It might become popular. Prices are rising overall due to the procurement of raw materials, but I think AA should be priced at under 10,000 probably be a little over 10,000 yen at most.Otherwise, the balance with the Legendary Series will be off.

P.S.
This is puzzling, but in Japan it is listed on the official website as “Wanashi”, or “Nashi pear”. However, on the French and British sites, it is simply “nashi” only. My sense is that this is indeed a crispy Japanese pear, and the sales staff also said that it has the aroma of a Japanese pear. But the official sites in Europe and the U.S. don't mention it, and the expression “Japanese pear” only in Japan doesn't make sense...

Cucumber Meets Mint
Rosa Verde left me disappointed. With a name like that, I expected a delicate, green rose, something dewy, maybe a bit unexpected.

Instead, it opens with an assertive blast of cucumber and mint, and that’s pretty much all it gives. The freshness is undeniable, and it does stay light and clean throughout, but it leans too heavily into the culinary. It smells more like an infused water or a fancy appetizer than a fragrance. I kept waiting for the rose to appear, but it never did.

Not unpleasant, just not what I want to wear on my skin.

Refreshment in the pear orchard
It's a warm summer's day and a light, warm wind is blowing through the garden. But it's still pretty hot. Up to 33 °C has been forecast for today. So I pop into the kitchen to prepare my special refreshing drink.

I take the previously brewed peppermint tea out of the fridge and pour it into a glass. Next, I cut exactly six slices of cucumber. I eat two straight away, four end up in the glass. I add three ice cubes.

I sit back down in the garden with my drink and take a sip. My gaze lingers on the pear tree, which is bearing a particularly large amount of beautiful, ripe fruit this year. After five minutes, I finally decide to stand up, pick a pear and take a bite. This is summer!

---------------------

The mint note runs through the fragrance from start to finish. At first, the freshness of the cucumber resonates, but the fragrance quickly becomes sweeter and is reminiscent of pear. I find the rose a little shy. Overall, the result is a fruity, fresh and summery fragrance.

Compared to Etat Libre d'Orange - You Or Someone Like You, this fragrance is fruitier, softer and more feminine overall. Nevertheless, both are similar in their freshness and concept.

It's 30°C, 51% humidity. Rosa Verde suddenly became honeyed rose forward, everything else shifted deep into the background. Beware, I guess?

This is like ELDO's You or Someone Like You. ELDO's is a bit grassier, like freshly cut mint, while this one is more dewy/aquatic. Love both

Unbalanced and unpleasant mix of notes. Feels sweaty and incoherent. One of the weakest from the Aqua Allegoria line.

I wish the mint note would be stronger. Don't blind buy. This was disappointing. Cucumber is done in a way that smells cheap.

A spritz of refreshing notes: green mint, aquatic cucumber, fresh pear, warm musk and floral roses. Perfect for battling the summer heat!
