					Illuminating Hour(s)
L’Heure Blanche is essentially the olfactory embodiment of white - not only does the name suggest this, but the scent also embodies a milky clarity.
Those who spray it on will find themselves mentally playing with the idea of dressing in white and mingling with the crowd... ideally in spring or summer - it is practically made for that. Another color would somehow feel out of place.
Strictly speaking, it should be called “L’Heures Blanche,” as the delightfully bright time spent with it certainly extends well beyond an hour. The longevity easily reaches half a day, though one must admit that its radiance is relatively modest in comparison.
At least you get an Eau de Parfum that refreshes in a powdery and floral way from the very first second, possibly with a few spritzes of bergamot or neroli, but very gently and coolly underpinned. When you read milk, you also believe in milk - at least with a marginally sweetened touch. And somehow, it also evokes the association with sunscreen; the scent embodies a bit of that creamy and clean vacation feeling.
It is a pity that “The White Hour” is limited in quantity, but there is at least a small consolation. Although the pyramid suggests something entirely different, the creation strongly reminds me of Ultraviolet Man by Paco Rabanne, which also has a women's version that I personally do not know. In any case, Ultraviolet Man also leans towards a very powdery-fresh revelation, albeit more synthetic and less with that sunscreen nuance.
Guerlain has conjured up an appealing concept here, which has been consistently implemented and truly works. And because this is additionally accompanied by their natural quality, I generously award a full 8.5 points. The color feels generous and gives an absolutely pure conscience... I know.

I completely agree. I felt the same way about the scent, and I also ended up with an 8.5.

I don't know Ultraviolett Man, but I have the women's version. To be honest, it's also a bit more appealing in terms of price ;-))

I liked Ultraviolet Man. Where can I test it? Now I'm curious.

A white suit is really exhausting, though. I once had to walk through Agadir in one of those during my time in the Navy.

The scent has a clean, innocent quality to it, and I’m really impressed. I'm less thrilled about the price and the limited availability.

Definitely very well done. However, at that price, I'm seeing red! Enjoyed reading it!
