Shalimar L'Essence begins very softly vintage, yet modern at the same time, revealing the following scent profile to me:
She sits in front of the mirror and has just finished her daytime routine, enveloped in a bright, powdery floral, 'Iris ~ Day Cream ~ nuance, only to later receive, almost unrecognizably, a very dense, floral 'rosy nuance along with an indescribable hint of something very delicate floral, wrapped in a smoothly creamy 'Vanilla ~ note that fades away with ever softer tones.
'Bergamot was unfortunately not recognizable for my Paleocortex :-)
Overall, the scent lasts 9 hours on my skin.
The sillage was designed to be distinctly 2 meters for 2 hours and then very noticeably, gradually calming to an arm's length for 3 hours.
