Head Notes Blender
The pyramid of Seductive Red reads exactly to my taste, and so the fragrance had been on my wishlist for a while. Unfortunately, I could never find a tester in the local drugstores (after all, it’s a 22 km one-way trip since a certain drugstore chain no longer exists). Out of frustration and also due to the affordable price, I was tempted into a blind buy even though I had read several times about BR vibes or comparisons to Cloud (cherry, almond, cherry blossom, and magnolia just sounded too good).
Now, let's get to the scent: The top note starts beautifully with cherry, which is blended with a light almond note... the pepper is left out. If the fragrance could remain like this for longer than a quarter to half an hour or if the flowers mentioned in the pyramid would come through, I would be completely satisfied, if not even happy. However, my skin throws a wrench in the works as a cedar note increasingly comes through until it takes over completely. So, here we are (unfortunately) at BR540 and similar... Unfortunately, I also don't perceive any further changes in the next good 6 - 7 hours that the scent lasts on me (sillage quickly becomes very close to the skin).
The bottle itself is a little eye-catcher from afar with its striking red color and also gives a very sturdy impression. I even have difficulty getting the cap off mine because it fits so tightly...
For those of us who find that BR540 and co develop wonderfully and love cherries, this is a great tip/cheapie from the drugstore area; for those of us who don’t, stay away or test first.
