Seductive Red Guess 2021 Eau de Toilette

To me, this scent has a very flirty, girly and playful vibe. I would wear this when I want to smell sweet, not take myself too seriously and have fun

A syrupy cherry note is definitely the star here, the vanilla and tonka bean give it a little depth and I am guessing it is the floral notes that give it a slight "airy" vibe and keep the scent from being overwhelmingly sweet to my nose.

Longevity is around 4-6 hrs on my skin, with a very nice projection during the first 2 hours, then gives you a nice scent bubble until it finally fades to become a pleasant vanilla skin scent. This lasts about 3 days on a scarf/clothes, so if it doesn't last on your skin, try spraying your outfit with it, you might get a better longevity that way :)

I definitely prefer this during colder days, I don't mind it when I'm inside a closed space and so far I've had no complaints, which is good hahah it can also be a very nice winter-spring transitional scent, in my opinion. If you like sweet scents no matter the weather, I think this would be lovely on a summer evening as well, Then again, wear whatever You Enjoy whenever you like! ^-^

This is my first cherry fragrance purchase, and I haven't really felt the need to "upgrade" to a more expensive one.

Sure, it doesn't last very long, and you need to reapply it more often than other fragrances. But it goes great with the vanillas, the tobaccos, some of the ambers, and the fruity-florals in my collection. If I get a little bored with any of those fragrances, a little spritz of this takes it in a new, fun direction.

After all, look at the many different fragrances listed on the "layer" tab. I haven't seen many fragrances on this site that list more than five layering suggestions, and at the time I'm writing this, it already has 27 for Seductive Red. (28 if they include mine - Britney Spears' Fantasy Did It Again).

I could layer it with different types of fragrances all year and still be appropriate for the season.

It's also pretty nice by itself, by the way. I picked it up at Ross for about $12, and it's been one of my better "cheapie" purchases. This one's a keeper!

This scent is definitely one of my favourites! The only problem is that you have to reapply it every now and then, so it can actually last. The cherry, pink pepper and almond never really disappear from my skin even if they're the top notes.

All of the notes just harmonize so well. It is simply spicy with a hint of smoke and at the same time it's so sweet, juicy and girly while carrying this almond cherry note. I just hate that it doesn't even last a full hour on my skin (but a lot longer on my clothes).

That's why you have to reapply it often...Though it is perfect to layer.
(If you want to stay on a bugdet then use Madame Chérie to layer because it adds a lot of smoky cherry).

Anyway, I expected all sorts of things, a mega amazing cherry, a scent like sweet from Lolita Lempicka, a friend told me that if I know how this one smells, I’ll know the others too. Only after the purchase did I read your statements, and the Baccarat-Rouge vibe that you say is supposed to be in here made me nervous. I don’t know B.R. and I don’t think we would become friends, as I really can’t stand Burberrys Her and Cloud by Ariana Grande. These two are said to strongly lean towards that DNA. The only one I can somewhat handle with these vibes is Pure Sugar by Cosmopolitan.
Long story short, I was curious about what to expect here. So first I sprayed it in the cap, hmmm, pleasant, the Her-Cloud vibes are there, but very, very soft, softer than Pure Sugar, embedded in a warm, vanilla caressing sweetness!!! Immediately sprayed on my skin and fell in love. No sweet cherry, but never mind. This incredible vanilla, slightly powdery warmth combined with the slightly scratchy toned-down medicinal vibes in the dry down creates something incredibly sensual, slightly wicked, seductive!!! A perfect Olala scent, a gentle weapon when you use it specifically on someone who is allowed to get close to you. The sillage is not overwhelming, but the longevity is all the stronger. I could still perceive the scent on my wrist after 5 hours, and on my neck, it usually lasts twice as long.
I regret only having the 30 ml at the moment. A real gem, especially in the drugstore range :)

The pyramid of Seductive Red reads exactly to my taste, and so the fragrance had been on my wishlist for a while. Unfortunately, I could never find a tester in the local drugstores (after all, it’s a 22 km one-way trip since a certain drugstore chain no longer exists). Out of frustration and also due to the affordable price, I was tempted into a blind buy even though I had read several times about BR vibes or comparisons to Cloud (cherry, almond, cherry blossom, and magnolia just sounded too good).

Now, let's get to the scent: The top note starts beautifully with cherry, which is blended with a light almond note... the pepper is left out. If the fragrance could remain like this for longer than a quarter to half an hour or if the flowers mentioned in the pyramid would come through, I would be completely satisfied, if not even happy. However, my skin throws a wrench in the works as a cedar note increasingly comes through until it takes over completely. So, here we are (unfortunately) at BR540 and similar... Unfortunately, I also don't perceive any further changes in the next good 6 - 7 hours that the scent lasts on me (sillage quickly becomes very close to the skin).

The bottle itself is a little eye-catcher from afar with its striking red color and also gives a very sturdy impression. I even have difficulty getting the cap off mine because it fits so tightly...

For those of us who find that BR540 and co develop wonderfully and love cherries, this is a great tip/cheapie from the drugstore area; for those of us who don’t, stay away or test first.
