An enveloping Vanilla

One of the associations I love to make is between colors and fragrances.
It’s not always direct, but if I had to match Xplicit Vanilla to a color, it would undoubtedly be Bordeaux .
A hue that exudes elegance and sensuality, often bounded to the concept of "Looking Rich," deep and incisive.
Xplicit Vanilla is a fragrance where vanilla takes center , warm and enveloping, blending with the dark aromas of chocolate and caramel, with a hint of amber. While it may seem more suited to the cold seasons, I find it incredibly enhanced during a summer night, where its soft nuances are highlighted, making it even more magnetic.
In short: sweet but not overly so, with an unforgettable character.

It's a lot. Like...a lot.

This fragrance is the answer to the question, "What if we made a really obnoxious perfume?"

And by obnoxious I mean: nauseatingly overpowering and unnecessarily loaded with oud, in the finest tradition of current fragrance trends. (Yes, I know this is an unpopular opinion. I said what I said.)

It opens with a chocolate and vanilla blast that is swiftly punched in the face by an overdose of oud. Supposedly there's sandalwood and cedar in here, but oud is clearly the heavy hitter. The base notes can't save it; from about 10 minutes in, it's a straightforwardly cloying oud bomb without an ounce of nuance.

You guys...it's JUST TOO MUCH. I sprayed this exactly once on the back of my hand and still filled rooms. My cat wouldn't let me pat him, and frankly I don't blame him.

If you insist on wearing this, for the love of all that is good and right and true in this world, I beg you: 1-2 sprays max. Please.

Gorgeous Seductive Vanilla

Not a fan of this bottle but the juice is amazing. I’d describe this as a safe oud for someone who starting out. I’m starting out . Get a lot of a creamy vanilla and brown sugar as well as a spicy sweet oud incense. The dry down is more sweet and caramel with heavy amber and less incense. Beautiful. Great for wintertime but I plan on wearing this all year. You don’t need a lot of sprays. 2-3 sprays is perfect.
To me I imagine the most seductive gorgeous dark and mysterious woman wearing this with a dark burgundy lip stick and a plays the saxophone at a local jazz bar that has tight exclusivity and high end. She was at the club with John wick walked in for business and they greeted each other lol. She’s a little dangerous, not so great past but has a big heart underneath her mystery and allure. I imagine cat woman would wear this but no seriously it’s incredible. So glad I got the full bottle because I’m going to use this UP

Mancera simply does Gourmands

Super delicious and sweet gourmand for autumn and winter. Warm, cozy vanilla with chocolate/cocoa gently accompanied by oud! Spicy and woody moments that envelop you and stay with you for a long time. This fragrance makes the wearer feel comfortably cuddly and is a perfect companion for the uncomfortable dark, cold, and wet season! I don't want to be without it anymore.

Finally a niche adult vanilla from Mancera

This fragrance surprised me greatly. I have rarely experienced a scent from Mancera that feels so rounded, mature, and harmonious. Each individual note is perceptible, and they blend into a very balanced overall picture.

The vanilla finally does not come off as girly, intrusive, or cheap. It is warm, gourmand, and possesses a beautiful depth. The combination of oud, cedarwood, and brown sugar works surprisingly well and gives the fragrance a noble warmth. The milk chocolate smells soft, creamy, and high-quality, never artificial. Over time, a sweet, warm, spicy, and slightly resinous amber note develops on my skin, making the scent even more sensual.

Many Mancera fragrances with vanilla give me headaches. This vanilla, on the other hand, is pleasant, niche, and cleanly formulated.

The longevity and sillage are truly top-notch.

In summary, it is a niche, smoky, dark, creamy, spicy vanilla with brown sugar for you. A fragrance that shows how elegant and mature vanilla can truly be.
