Glacier Cloud
A fragrance from Iceland that is supposedly made with glacier water and adorned with a piece of volcanic rock. I would say the marketing team did a good job; it convinced me to make a blind purchase. Additionally, I couldn't imagine anything bad about the notes, and in general, I think it's safer to buy "harmless" fragrances blindly than something extravagant.
The bottle is quite nice; I find the piece of volcanic rock very appealing, definitely earns points from me. Otherwise, it's relatively simple and elegant, something many manufacturers do quite well. Unfortunately, the sprayer is not great, not 100% tight when spraying and gives a bit too much stream, not a nice mist.
Now to the main point: The scent.
The notes are very simple and direct, and so is the fragrance. You get a few citrus notes in the opening, very aquatic, with a bit of musk to soothe it all even more. Refreshing, but also harmless and nothing special; I think you can find a similar scent in some designer or "cheap" fragrances.
The scent fades very quickly and becomes a soft cloud on the skin (probably the cashmere wood and musk), gentle spices in the background, definitely nothing piercing (not listed as notes here, I would classify it as pepper/pink pepper). Still fresh and pleasant here. Citrus is gone after what feels like just a few minutes.
Overall, a good refreshment, nice for summer. In my opinion, it's one for moments when you don't want to make a strong presence with a perfume, but rather wear a refreshment for yourself.
The longevity and sillage are, by the way, subpar, making it well-suited for events where you want to hold back. I think you won't clash with it anywhere, but you also rarely stand out positively.
Positively put: You can always spray it on without hesitation!
