It's called Cologne because lemon comes first, as one would expect. Broad and open, sour like when peeling a lemon (orange) and the aromatic oil sprays out. It briefly twists around hints of unnamed herbs of the slightly aromatic, vegetal kind, a bit of incense, and a touch of geraniol must not be missing. Then, a further fresh spicy, woody green base emerges, which holds well as a shine in the background.
The 'macho' was once an ideal that was projected onto the perfume, not that the perfume in turn makes a 'macho'. It is rather lightweight and quite friendly lemon - moss.
Anyone who is disturbed by Evernia Prunasti for allergic reasons will find it listed on the packaging - please send it to me. The fact that production seems to have been discontinued (s/o) gives hope.
