sepulchre stone

Wilted purple petals, fresh turned soil, a shroud of petrichor rising from sepulchre stone. This is one of the most transportive scents I’ve met, and surprisingly wearable too. Few fragrances capture the sensation of coldness so well. This is the feeling of forging through a fog bank, damp earth underfoot. And… cucumber? (Don’t question it). It works splendidly and saves the fragrance from feeling too moldery or dank. As otherworldly as Nosferatu is, I’d argue it’s also totally office safe: at the end of the day this is still a clean, soft-spoken floral. Inside of you are two wolves: the dewy-eyed solicitor and the demon rat man. And they both wear this.

Longevity is the best I’ve gotten out of a Heretic (>5h), but in the end I decided to spring for the candle rather than the fragrance, as I felt it was I scent I enjoyed more filling a room than carried on skin. It was obscenely expensive, but then again... I am an appetite, nothing more.

Mental Snapshot: What can I imagine that Eggers hasn’t? I like to think this is the scent shored within Ellen’s locket, as perceived by Orlok. Desiccated bouquets and powdered flesh, steeped in the rain and earth from a weeks long voyage, now magnified hundredfold to the nose of an ageless predator.

tl;dr: you must spritz it on *wheeeeeezzeee* crazy style
