Maid has to fetch milk for her lordship over the main road, which has become a muddy path because of cow dung, rain, oxcarts and rubbish
She serves with mud-lined skirts.
On her tray is a single iris beside the milk.
The mistress of the house receives her drink in the old book parlor.
I guess it's the patchouli that evokes cow dung and slight milk associations for me....
Interesting but definitely not a creation I want to smell like.
