So far I did not have much success with Histoires de Parfums. Although all of the perfumes I tried seemed to be of decent quality, I started to feel incompatible with them in terms of style. 7753 is a completely different story, though. With this green-white floral profile, we are in MY domain. Finally.
7753 combines a heady white floral with sharp green notes. They make a shockingly loud first appearance with zero sweetness. I would call it harsh at first. To some this may even induce a headache. That sharp greenness is reduced to normal levels after a while, but that frigid, unsweet chill remains even when the woody-powdery base notes emerge.
Personally I find that tuberose and cool green notes make a heavenly match. Thankfully, there are many variations in this particular area and 7753 is one of the better ones. Certainly worth a try. As far as the HdP brand is concerned, I guess I will continue to explore their line-up after all.
