Oud Honoré Payan

Full dose of saffron, then all kinds of woods, finally patchouli. Thankfully, no oud. Without the saffron, it's lovely earthy-woody in DD.

Weirdest oud interpretation I’ve put my nose on. Mossy and ozonic/aquatic. Slightly salty and patchouli. Nope.

Woody, mossy, medicinal, and synthetic like the rotten cucumber from Nasomatto (Fantomas). Repellent, gray & toxic.

Instead of Oud, traditional woods dominate here, especially Patchouli, which also keeps the Agarwood in check. Seen this way, it's rather classic.
