Because wow — this is such a deep, earthy patchouli with a dark soul, but it never feels heavy. There’s a touch of sweetness that smooths it out, but not in a basic way — it’s almost hypnotic. Right after spraying, I get aromatic, resinous vibes — even a bit balsamic. Then the patchouli kicks in: damp, dark, elegantly dirty. As it dries down, it warms up with amber and woods, and there’s this bold, beautiful incense note that really stands out (seriously, wow). It vaguely reminds me of cruising-area , but honestly? I like this Houbigant way more. It’s intense but balanced — like velvet on skin. Totally unisex, but I’ll admit it: smelling this on a man would absolutely ruin me. Brutally gorgeous.
