Milk and licorice pudding

A single nugget of myrrh mercy-drowned in a pudding bowl of waxen vanilla, with a sweet amber accord thickening it up like arrowroot. Myrrh will out, of course, and in Myrrhiad, it comes through as the soft, sappy licorice accent running along the back of the scent like rubber tracking. Think the chewy licorice vines you get in the pick n’ mix at the cinema that are more texture than flavor, rather than the oily, resinous, or mushroomy twang you have in real myrrh. This is essentially myrrh for myrrh pussies, which might be an accurate way of describing me. Balmy, vanillic – Bvlgari Black-lite. Love it.

Licore myriad

I get more licorice than myrrh from this, but I love it! It's a very interesting take on licorice that is quite sweet, but not really gourmand. The myrrh stops it from fully going there, it adds a medicinal, borderline plasticy layer on top of the other notes, which sounds weird but really elevates the scent.

In the opening there is something about this that reminds me of a glass of fizzy cola with a slice of lemon, albeit not quite as sugary and with an undertone of black tea. The licorice, myrrh and leather are already noticeable in the background and become stronger. This is one of those fragrances where all the listed notes are detectable, but there is also something more to it.
The blend of licorice and leather really evokes a soft, shiny, black texture, so I imagine that this would be great with black leather clothes, if you like to match your scents to your outfits.

To me this feels feminine in a confident, assertive way. Cool and original with a sexy sweetness underneath it. But I think if a man wore it, it would come across differently, and still be appealing. That's the magic of good unisex fragrance.

Dabbed on, this perfume smells different than when it is sprayed. Initially, I loved it because it smelled just like myrrh but when I smelled it later, the myrrh is secondary to the creamy licorice. There is a nice comforting vanilla there and the tea connects all the notes together. This is quite beautiful but a little heavy on the licorice side and not enough on the myrrh.

The bottle is small and made of some type of ceramic. If it was not for the pig-nose top, I would love it even more.
