This unqualified exclamation caught me off guard with Jardin de Sicile shortly after spraying it, and this initial impression remained, even as the nuances of the fragrance shifted back and forth throughout its development. The beginning is very refreshing, lemony, and nature-identical. It's somewhat like the orange bomb Orange Sanguine, but in the citrus variant.
The heart note then ventures into the woods, losing the fruity aspect in favor of a green, slightly woody one.
The base then returns from the woods and heads into the Sicilian catacombs for a dance in the evening, where patchouli and soft, warm cuddle notes meet, providing a cozy finish.
An amazing, long-lasting summer fragrance!
