Cinnamonic ghost
Sandalwood of a very gentle, milky-tonic-water type, like sandalwood oil stirred into Schweppes Bitter Tonic, warmed by a burnt clove note that smells like singed rubber or wood. The minty shell on the clove does lend a mouthwash vibe alright if you think too hard about it, but hey, it's easy not to, so just don't.
I love this while it lasts (which is not long) and mourn it when it's gone but the trajectory from one state to the other is too short for me to consider investing. Not that I could now anyway. It's gone, disappeared into the mists of time, which is how I like to imagine Olivia Giacobetti designs all her perfumes - fading out politely, leaving just a ghostly presence in the air to tip you off that it was ever there in the first place.
