Maybe this is a case of oversensitivity to certain ingredients and I'm smelling something I'm not supposed to smell, but this is an extremely sharp, rubbery and synthetic fragrance to my nose.
It's mainly poisonous amounts of bitter almond with a dry, medicinal note that I thought was supposed to be saffron or maybe leather. Nothing like that is listed, so I don't know. The rest of the scent consists of white floral notes, which I perceive at the same time as sterile and weirdly fleshy. Like someone tried to emulate human skin with plastic.
Interesting, but definitely not what I'd want to smell like.
I find the name High Frequency very fitting, even though it might not be intentional - this feels very high pitched to me.
It's bearable in extremely small doses (like half a drop, dabbed), I can see how it could be intriguing that way, but even one full spray out of a 2 ml atomizer feels overwhelming to me.
Some say that this is similar to Hypnotic Poison EDT. I remember I immensely disliked HP when I was a teenager, it smelled like a rubber glove to me. Nowadays I like it, even though it's not my favorite scent ever. And now I'm wondering... Has my taste changed like I assumed, or did older versions of HP smell more rubbery, just like High Frequency?
