Almond sugar cookie
as i got this in, i tested it with a friend of mine, and we both came to the immediate conclusion: that it smells NOICE. it also doesnt smell like its note breakdown, as its actually kind of gourmandish, smelling like a freshly baked almond sugar pastry. but we differed on the intended audience, as i feel it definitely leans more femme, and she thinks it's more masculine.

speaking of the note breakdown, its not much, as its just magnolia, almond and hedione. its rich and light at the same time, its very floral and sugary as noted, its creamy and its got a surprising facet to it: its fresh too, so color me cucked. its pretty, and a little dainty.

i can see the similarities to pegasus though i think this is its own thing. this is not a room filler, but if the wind is blowing you will catch attention. longevity is good, not great, and the versatility is medium as this is definitely a daytime scent. as sweet as it is, it works well in the warm weather... damn this makes me feel pretty, not gonna lie.
so as i sit here in my Fenty boyshorts, sipping my white wine and listening to Whitney, i gotta say i enjoy this alot.
what?

Reminiscent of past
High frequency is a perfume that I really like. It's essentially clean creamy airy white flowers and powdery gourmands almonds. Imho one can see this as the modern interpretation of Dior Hypnotic Poison Edt. Strong performer, not cloying, still to be tested as it can be too much for some. The combo almonds - white flowers is to me a perfect one for brides and weddings, especially in this airy, abstract interpretation. High pitched poison and plastic skin
Maybe this is a case of oversensitivity to certain ingredients and I'm smelling something I'm not supposed to smell, but this is an extremely sharp, rubbery and synthetic fragrance to my nose.
It's mainly poisonous amounts of bitter almond with a dry, medicinal note that I thought was supposed to be saffron or maybe leather. Nothing like that is listed, so I don't know. The rest of the scent consists of white floral notes, which I perceive at the same time as sterile and weirdly fleshy. Like someone tried to emulate human skin with plastic.
Interesting, but definitely not what I'd want to smell like.

I find the name High Frequency very fitting, even though it might not be intentional - this feels very high pitched to me.
It's bearable in extremely small doses (like half a drop, dabbed), I can see how it could be intriguing that way, but even one full spray out of a 2 ml atomizer feels overwhelming to me.

Some say that this is similar to Hypnotic Poison EDT. I remember I immensely disliked HP when I was a teenager, it smelled like a rubber glove to me. Nowadays I like it, even though it's not my favorite scent ever. And now I'm wondering... Has my taste changed like I assumed, or did older versions of HP smell more rubbery, just like High Frequency?

Heavy femininity
At first you can perceive a very light floral sweet, almost sweetish note, which appears incredibly dense and at the same time as intensely creamy as a body lotion and I suspect the jasmine and almond used here, as they hide very delicate cherryy, rather marzipan-like notes in the background and I particularly like them.

Somewhat in the background, but also not too far away, another floral note is perceptible, which gives the fragrance that certain clear, quite intense powdery something and exudes a fine sweet floral feminine, even feminine shimmer, without exaggerating, and I mean to perceive the magnolia here.

A little bit later the delicate scents from the top note have unfolded completely.

A very dense floral sweet floral note is simply surrounded by vanilla pudding that has already cooled down and is due to the interaction of heliotrope and bourbon vanilla.

Over time, all the notes 'symbiotize' with each other and create an almost fleshy, sweet, flowery, creamy femininity that is hard to resist and I say that as someone from the other side of the river; you know what I mean! :-)

At the very end, the vanilla, slightly jasmine-influenced fragrance remains! And I think it's great!
in total the fragrance lasts 21 hours on my skin.

The Sillage is designed from the beginning 5 hours on a very clearly perceptible whole arm length, before it is minimized in very viscous steps, until the fragrance is finished.

I would like to thank our perfuma "Cocinera" for the sample.

Great sweet-floral-creamy fragrance a la Pegasus
Once again something about an Initio from me: The High Frequency from the Carnal Blends series. This purple range consists of Hedion fragrances. This is a fragrance that smells like jasmine. I want to write about this High Frequency because I find it extremely underrated at 7.1. It is also rated significantly lower than its fragrance twin Pegasus. I don't see this big difference in quality.
Of the Carnal Blends range, this High Frequency is a bit of a gray mouse. Compared to fragrances like Side Effect, it naturally seems more like a shelf warmer. However, this High Frequency goes in a completely different direction, which I find very interesting. As I had already treated myself to Pegasus a few years ago, this is not really a candidate for purchase, but those who also like this direction will find a great alternative here. What's more, you can get the 90ml bottle for a very good price.

I love the Initio brand. It's one of my favorite niche brands as a whole. Great high-quality fragrances that stay in your memory. The fragrances are also very easy to like and are simply compliment magnets and crowdpleasers. This one is no exception. Even if it doesn't only get positive feedback here, I can say that it will go down very well with the majority of people.
The packaging and bottles of this brand are simply worth buying and you get something for the price. The 90 ml bottles are easy to handle and have a great finish, including a beautiful lid. The packaging is also perfect.

In terms of fragrance, you get a floral-sweet scent that is extremely reminiscent of Pegasus. Anyone who knows the famous Pegasus will be reminded of it immediately after spraying it on. Of course, there are some differences in the details, but the two share this almond DNA. What is missing is this strong metallic note, which has been replaced by a great creamy-clean note. This comes from the floral notes, which are very present here. According to the pyramid, these are jasmine, heliotrope and magnolia. I particularly notice jasmine and heliotrope, which blend harmoniously with the almond. Everything seems very clean and well-groomed and is also very wearable in everyday life. Sandalwood fits perfectly as a woody component in this creation. There is also a great sweet vanilla that is not too gourmand here. That's it for this little "pyramid". The fragrance progression is rather linear and it maintains its level for several hours until it fades away gently and warmly. It is always wearable, especially in autumnal temperatures, except during sporting activities. Due to these soft floral notes, it will appeal more to women. However, men who find a creamy-floral alternative to Pegasus interesting can also wear it.
Performance is really good. The sillage is perfect for a well-groomed appearance and is never too much in my opinion. Also the durability is quite good with a minimum of 8 hours. As a daily fragrance, it therefore works quite well.

Overall, a recommendation to buy if you like this almond note. However, you should already test it.

Oh yes, this scratches an itch somewhere. Opens sweet and spicy, fades to sultry vanilla, but still fresh. Might be full bottle worthy.

Sweet creamy almond with floral nuances, has significant overlap with Psychedelic Love from the same line. Performance doesn't wow, unisex.

A soft floral that is sweet, with a slightly boozy feel to it. A more feminine version of PdM Pegasus, which is not a bad thing.

Everything I've smelt from this house has a very synthetic feel. It fits a modern profile but it lacks personality.
