Budding white flowers by the pond

The opening is... a lot. Green watermelon and far too many different florals. Sweet, but aggressively clean and fresh. Like someone used too much air freshener. Overwhelming.

Feels like eternity, but when I look at the time – turns out it barely takes ~15 minutes to subside. And then I suddenly find myself hooked. Suddenly whatever I didn't like is long gone and forgotten.

It's aquatic. You can almost hear a morning dew droplet rolling off a leaf and hitting the pond surface. It's green. Like budding white flowers that are not quite ready to bloom. It's elegant. And luscious and wet; and I sit there, enthralled, like an ant staring at giant muguet bells towering above him, clouded in thin morning mist.

And then I blink and suddenly it's been ~2 hours. The white floral fantasy land I've been swept away to is gone. All that's left is a faint green aftertaste of it close to my skin. Soft and translucent, but it lasts long into the evening.

Funnily enough, although this is a feminine perfume, it actually opens up better on my partner's body. On his skin there's no harsh start – it's an immediate gorgeous honeyed flower field. It does eventually dissipate and leave behind the same aquatics and greens, but still... I'm jelly! I wish that were me!
