The Love of Hay and Sun
I have been completely enamored with the scent of the first blooming meadows, warming in the spring sun. The first bumblebees are buzzing around the flowers. Side by side with the bees. In the air, there is always this special scent of dew, green, and the life that looks forward to summer.
And it is in this that my absolute favorite accord gains more and more space.
Hay.
This natural aroma, when all the green splendor gives off its scent in the sunlight. One last time.
Hay carries in its scent DNA both grass and something fermented. The whole story. It has hints of honey and somehow something very sensual. And that is exactly what makes Hindu Grass for me.
At the beginning, green-smoky notes find their way again and again.
And yet it is the melange of sensual transience and the scent of hay. Of warm resins and the union of tobacco and patchouli. After about two hours, the scent strongly reminds me of Slumberhouse's Kiste - just without the fruit. And I really like that scent.
When I was out in the fresh air a lot today, my nose kept wandering to my wrist and I enjoyed Hindu Grass very much. It has almost a meditative quality. Something comforting.
Full of the warmth of a summer.
Stored sunshine.
Incredibly beautiful.
