When it comes to 'soap', J-scent really nailed it! I have- and had quite some soapy scents, but this really is asif your bar of soap acts like perfume. I find it hard to decide if I want a bottle because A: it's the wrong season for it maybe. B: this is perfect for the gym, only problem is: I don't do gym (I should, I know :-)). It doesn't remind me of washing powder or dryer sheets; it really is clean skin, but maybe a bit too clean? I miss a little sweetness from powder or cream or from the warmth of skin. I do like it though for not being too musky like many 'clean' scents can be. I get the 'Dove' vibe, but was hoping for the smell of the white Dove bar, the way it smelled in the past. Dove used to smell a bit more perfume-y in the past, my skin couldn't handle it then because of an allergic reaction; now I can handle it, but the smell has been changed a bit. It does have these 'fatty' aldehydes as in vintage Estēe (1968) Super Cologne but misses the champagne-like feel of that scent. Projection and longevity are really impressive: I smell it the morning after and it hasn't become a 'skin-scent'. This is linear, but I think - in this case- it should be.
I will keep my sample and try it next summer. Could well be I will love it then. I think it will really cut through the heat. In any case: Thumps up for J-Scent creating THE soapy scent!
