Green Flask with a Changeable Character
The green plastic flask on Plexiglas legs didn't really appeal to me in terms of presentation. Neither visually nor haptically did it evoke an association with the advertised mystical aura. The lack of a cap for the spray head didn't really improve matters either. What truly annoyed me, however, was the packaging. Once taken out, the thing with its two legs couldn't be properly repacked. A loose plastic trim piece at the bottom of the box notoriously lay across. This problem could ultimately only be solved by radically disposing of the unnecessary nuisance. The first impression was, however, atmospherically clouded.
But the true radiance - as the wise teach - comes from within. After spraying the fragrance, a rumbling orchestra of various - for me indeterminate - scent notes made itself known at the outset. What lingered was a - actually not pronouncedly citrusy (although green lemon?) - base fruitiness with liberally added peculiarities. Unfortunately, I couldn't identify the ginger. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the cacophony ended. Contrary to my already fully developed prejudices at that point, the fragrance then developed into a pleasant herbal-green direction. A bit of herbal pastille, but quite unique and coherent, an idea of woodsy fresh spice with a slightly sweetened base formed. It wasn't heavily applied but rather adapted subtly, without losing character. Seen this way, the name Aura is indeed somewhat fitting, especially since the fragrance also appears very restrained. Woodily warm, the aura then dissolved with a residual spiciness into ether. The longevity was satisfactory for me, lasting about six to eight hours. The price-performance ratio is certainly appropriate.
